As we approach our 25-year anniversary in 2026, we reflect on a journey marked by resilience, service, and steady growth. What began as a single truck, a hot box, and a mission to serve great food has grown into a trusted name in catering across the Southeast and beyond.
From Humble Beginnings to Regional Expansion
Iacofano’s Catering was founded in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2001. With an unwavering commitment to hospitality, our company quickly earned a reputation for on-time service, consistent quality, and dedication to doing things right.
We didn’t just deliver meals—we built partnerships. That foundation enabled us to expand with purpose:
- 2011: Columbia, SC location opens
- 2013: Launch of Iacofano’s In-Flight Catering
- 2014: Charlotte, NC location opens
- 2019: Cleveland, OH location opens
- 2024: New headquarters opens in North Charleston, SC
Today, we serve a broad range of clients, including private aviation companies, Fortune 500 corporations, weddings and social events, and community organizations. Whether it’s a plated dinner for 500 or a VIP jet departure at 4 a.m., our teams are built to deliver with precision and care.
Weathering the Storms—and Emerging Stronger
Like any long-standing company, we’ve been tested.
In 2006, we navigated an industry-wide downturn. Rather than scale back, we focused inward—retaining staff, improving systems, and reinforcing our customer-first philosophy.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought another major challenge. As events were canceled and aviation paused, we pivoted fast. Iacofano’s partnered with local agencies and nonprofit organizations to prepare and deliver more than 100,000 meals to seniors and vulnerable community members. It wasn’t about profit—it was about purpose.
That same purpose continues to drive everything we do.
